Using personality – For your brand, For your life

Personality is the soul of our being. It’s why we connect with those we admire, trust and feel are similar to us.

Cultures, communities, and social groups have risen from individuals who carry strong personalities.

In fact, most of the people you are friends with share similar personality traits, and that’s why you get along so well and listen to one another.

Your individuality is what will inspire your audience.

When your personality comes out in your words and actions you connect with those who enjoy you for being you.

You’re not trying to hide behind a fake persona, you’re telling it like it is in your own words.

Use your personality to show who you are in your business/brand and in your life, and you will create a strong group of followers that cannot be taken away!

“I knew that I had come face to face with some one whose mere personality was so fascinating that, if I allowed it to do so, it would absorb my whole nature, my whole soul, my very art itself.”Oscar Wilde

True inspiration, true growth, whether in life or in business transpires from personality.

If you want to succeed then allow your emotions to run free in your content.

Be alive, be who you are, and find those that have similar personalities.

Trying to convince those that don’t care to hear what you have to say is much less effective than building a group of loyal, happy readers/customers that will spread your work like wild-fire to any and everyone they know.

“We should take care not to make the intellect our god; it has, of course, powerful muscles, but no personality.”                                                                               Albert Einstein

We want those who are knowledgable, but we choose those we like.

Don’t get overly technical. Sure there are those groups that like to be a bunch of think tanks, and that’s perfectly fine if that’s what your audience wants, but the majority of us likes things simple, easy to understand, easy to implement, and as enjoyable as possible.

“Always be yourself, express yourself, have faith in yourself, do not go out and look for a successful personality and duplicate it.”
Bruce Lee

We all take away from our experiences pieces of those we admire.

It’s difficult not to.

However, we will always remain unique and must be sure to express that part of ourselves in our work, in our content, and in our lives.

“You now have to decide what ‘image’ you want for your brand. Image means personality. Products, like people, have personalities, and they can make or break them in the market place.”
 David Ogilvy

Your products, your services, your brand relies on having personality.

From our favorite sports car, to the clothing we wear, personality is woven into our brand.

It makes us feel good to own something which reflects our personality and adds to our enjoyment and success in life.

If you can infuse that into your products/services you will have no problem forming a customer base.

“The most seductive thing about art is the personality of the artist himself. ”
 Paul Cezanne
